RAD-150

Research Profile

RAD-150 is an orally active, non-steroidal Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM) and an esterified derivative of RAD-140. It binds selectively to androgen receptors (AR) in skeletal muscle and bone tissue, activating anabolic pathways that stimulate protein synthesis, promote lean muscle growth, increase strength, and enhance bone density, while minimizing androgenic activity in non-target tissues such as the prostate and liver. The esterified structure of RAD-150 provides a longer half-life and more stable plasma levels compared to RAD-140, potentially allowing for less frequent dosing and more consistent anabolic effects. RAD-150 also supports recovery from muscle stress or injury and improves endurance by enhancing metabolic efficiency in muscle tissue. Preliminary research indicates that, like RAD-140, RAD-150 may also provide neuroprotective benefits through its selective activation of androgen receptors in the central nervous system.
